Solutions Designer/Architect
We're partnering exclusively with a leading Australian organisation looking to bring on a Solution Designer/Architect to design and develop solutions across their core application landscape. A hands-on development role combining architecture with build, suited to someone who designs the solution and then develops it themselves.
The Opportunity
- Run discovery across the existing critical application estate, mapping current state and shaping a consolidated target state
- Design and develop API integrations between core platforms including asset management, finance and billing systems
- Develop data ingestion into the data warehouse and the reporting layer on top of it
- Automate manual processes using Power Automate
- Design solutions that bring IoT and operational data into the wider systems landscape
- Produce solution designs, architecture documentation and standards the business can work from
- Contribute to enterprise architecture strategy and maintain best practice guidelines
- Partner with technology vendors to get the best outcome from each platform
- Make sure solutions meet cyber security, privacy and data governance obligations
What We're Looking For
- Proven solution architecture experience paired with hands-on development, comfortable writing the code rather than handing designs over
- Strong API integration design and development across enterprise platforms
- Experience with data warehousing, data ingestion and reporting (Power BI)
- Power Automate and workflow automation
- Experience working with IoT or operational technology data
- Exposure to enterprise asset management, finance or billing platforms such as Infor EAM, Ellipse, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, NetSuite or Gentrack
- Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and standards
- Methodical approach to documentation and solution design
- Strong business acumen, able to understand the process before designing the system
- Working knowledge of cyber security, privacy and data governance obligations
