Financial Systems Analyst
We're partnering with a top-tier Australian law firm seeking to upgrade its practice management and finance systems. They're looking for an experienced Practice Management Systems Specialist to support system implementations, enhancements and ongoing operational improvements across the business.
You will be working as part of a high-performing finance and transformation team, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure systems meet business needs. You will contribute to implementing new modules, testing applications, and documenting processes and controls, helping business areas operate efficiently while supporting live systems already in production.
You'll also drive process and data improvements to strengthen the firm's financial systems capability. This role suits someone who enjoys full ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance project work with ongoing operational support.
What You'll Be Doing - Lead implementation of new practice management modules and related systems
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are understood and delivered on time
- Test new applications and system enhancements
- Document financial systems processes and controls
- Perform ad hoc system tasks including data extraction and analysis
- Respond to internal queries on system functionality and capabilities
- Produce client reporting as required
- Support additional tasks and mini-projects as needed
- Ensure all activities align with organisational standards and policies
What You Bring - Hands-on experience with practice management systems, ideally Elite 3E or Aderant
- Experience in a systems-focused role or as an end user in FP&A, accounting, BI or transactional roles
- SQL experience highly valued
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple streams of work
