Business Analyst - Legal
We're partnering with a leading Sydney law firm looking to bring on a Business Analyst to support project delivery across case management, workflow and integration initiatives. A hands-on role working closely with project managers, internal stakeholders and vendors to translate business needs into delivered outcomes.
The Opportunity
- Run requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders across legal, operations and technology teams
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, user stories and process documentation
- Map current state and future state workflows, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities
- Lead UAT planning, execution and business implementation testing
- Support tactical issue analysis and process improvement initiatives across the project portfolio
- Partner with vendors and internal delivery teams on system implementations, integrations and configurations
- Manage stakeholder communication and reporting across project lifecycles
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within the legal industry
- Exposure to case management or practice management platforms such as Aderant, Elite 3E or iManage
- Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery environments
- Strong workshop facilitation, documentation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and own deliverables end to end
