Business Analyst - Dayforce

We're looking for a Technical Business Analyst to support an HR & Payroll Dayforce Implementation!

This role requires strong hands-on experience working on HRIS implementations, with a particular focus on Dayforce or comparable enterprise HR and payroll platforms. You will support the delivery of a Dayforce (or comparable HRIS) implementation, acting as a key technical and functional link between the business and the implementation team.
  
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading requirements discovery and analysis for HRIS, payroll, time and attendance, and rostering
  • Translating workforce, payroll, and business requirements into clear functional specifications
  • Supporting HRIS configuration to align with enterprise agreements, awards, and payroll legislation
  • Working closely with Payroll and HR teams to validate requirements and system outcomes
  • Supporting data migration activities, including data mapping and validation
  • Designing and executing system, integration, and payroll testing scenarios
  • Coordinating and supporting user acceptance testing
  • Assisting with parallel payroll runs and issue resolution
  • Developing process documentation, configuration artefacts, and implementation materials
  • Acting as a central point of coordination between business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams
  • Supporting go-live activities and post-implementation stabilisation
  
You will bring:
  • Demonstrated experience working on Dayforce implementations, or similar tier-one HRIS platforms with integrated payroll
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end HRIS and payroll processes within Australian environments
  • Practical experience supporting HRIS configuration across payroll, time and attendance, and workforce management
  • Experience working with complex payroll rules, enterprise agreements, and industrial instruments
  • Ability to analyse and document detailed functional and technical requirements for HR and payroll systems
  • Experience supporting system testing, including payroll validation and parallel runs
  • Proven ability to work with HR, Payroll, Finance, and operational stakeholders
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
  • A delivery-focused mindset with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines
